|
| General |
An excellent harvest with cool conditions
preceding vintage, and a warm dry ripening period. .
|
|
| Description |
Very much mineral in style, with
delicate stone fruit aromas and the contribution of
subtle oak. The palate, although rich and weighty is
lifted by mineral freshness and clean melon and peach
flavours.

| Wine Record |
The 2009 vintage, whilst excellent,
was also a bumper crop for Chardonnay. The fruit was
whole bunch pressed and roughly 50% fermented in tank,
the remainder in 500L French oak barrels. Partial malolactic
fermentation ensued and both components remained on
their lees until bottling preparations began in December
2009. The wine was bottled in February 2010.
