NOBLE LATE HARVEST SAUVIGNON BLANC
|
|
| Vintage |
1998 |
|
| General |
Situated
on the narrow Cape Peninsula, Klein Constantia’s
vineyards are prone to moist conditions near harvest time
which encourage Botrytis cinerea. The 1998 vintage was
certainly no exception. Very selective picking was necessary
with the Botrytis-infected Sauvignon Blanc grapes being
left on the vines for careful harvesting in late March. |
