Tim Atkin’s SA Report for 2019

Tim Atkin released his SA Report for 2019. We are thrilled to announce that our Vin de Constance took the prize of ‘Overall Sweet Wine of the year’ achieving a fantastic 98 points for the second year in a row! In his review, Tim has this to say about the upcoming 2016 vintage: “Increasingly celebrated as one of the great sweet wines of the world, not just the Cape, Vin de Constance is a delight to taste and review. Slightly drier than the 205 release at 165 grams of sugar, it has more in common with the Loire or Tokaji than it does with Sauternes in terms of freshness and structure.”


In addition to that, our Block 382 Sauvignon Blanc 2018 scored 95 points, keeping prestigious company with only 4 other Sauvignon Blancs of the year!

In light of the Coronavirus pandemic, as a precautionary measure, from the 17th of March we will be CLOSING our tasting room and The Bistro at Klein Constantia until further notice.
