Grown on our coolest and highest South – facing vineyard which, is 300m above sea level underneath the Vlakkenberg Mountain. It loses the sun in the early afternoon.

Total plantings are ¾ hectare. Prone to baboon damage as it borders the Table Mountain Nature Reserve.

Tasting Notes

Elegant, with a subtle, delicate flavour of wild berry and mushrooms. A typically Pinot mouth-watering sweet/sour balance.

Maturation

Drink now but will improve with further bottle maturation

Barrel Aging

Matured for 1 year in Burgundy barrels, 50% of which were new
