OUR VINEYARDS

Dating back to 1685 and described as one of the world’s most beautiful wine estates, Klein Constantia is set amidst ancient trees on the upper foothills of the Constantiaberg, with views across False Bay. The perfect location for cool climate wines, Klein Constantia produces some of South Africa’s top wines, including one of the world’s best natural sweet wines,
Vin de Constance

Vineyards

VINEYARDS

For 5 consecutive years, Klein Constantia has ranked among the World’s Best Vineyards. Rising from 70 to 343 metres above sea level, its decomposed granite slopes are cooled by the breezes of False Bay, yielding wines of freshness, structure, and longevity. Across 146 hectares, each vineyard is farmed with care and minimal intervention. At the estate’s heart, the 22-hectare Grootbos forest embodies our belief that great wine begins with thriving ecosystems.

SUSTAINABILITY

As a WWF Conservation Champion, we protect our unique setting within the Cape Floral Kingdom. From preserving the 22-hectare indigenous Grootbos forest to reducing herbicide use and embracing regenerative viticulture, every decision is guided by respect for biodiversity. Solar energy, water conservation, and integrated pest management ensure that Klein Constantia remains a living, resilient ecosystem, proof that great wine begins with healthy soils and thriving nature.
